Our Story

Sourcing with purpose

The word "diligent" captured our work ethic, but we wanted our company to feel like a true reflection of the people behind it. So we brought together the names of our founders, Dillon and Jen, and Dilijent Sourcing was born: a daily reminder that our business is built on partnership, transparency, and a deeply personal dedication to quality.

Jen's roots trace back to the misty, high-altitude mountains of Anhui and Sichuan, where her family has cultivated premium heritage teas for generations. Paired with Dillon's operational focus and commitment to reliable supply chains, we bridge the gap between these family estates and tea lovers in the United States, bypassing standard commercial brokers and middlemen along the way.

Because we work directly with our own family's farms, we know exactly who picked the leaves, when they were harvested, and how they were processed. We personally oversee every step of the journey, from the soil in China to the final shipment arriving at your shop.

"We are Dili-Jen-t about our tea, so you can be confident in every sip." Dillon & Jen, Founders

The Line

Two teas, one standard of diligence

We're launching with a luxury-grade yellow tea and building out a companion green tea line. Both are hand-selected from family gardens we know personally, with full traceability back to the harvest.

Huoshan Huangya Yellow Tea

A rare, top-grade yellow tea from Huoshan County, one of China's least-exported categories, produced through a slow, hand-managed "men huang" (sealed yellowing) process found in very few gardens. Mellow, sweet, and smooth, with none of green tea's grassy edge.

Green Tea, Family-Grown

Drawing on the same family network supplying our yellow tea, we're finalizing a green tea line from Anhui and Sichuan gardens, vetted against the same standard of traceability and hand-selection before it reaches a shop shelf.
